Trust Officer

CAPITAL TRUSTEES AG, a regulated trustee company licensed by Finma, seeks a Trust Officer to enhance its market presence in Emerging Eurasia. The role involves boosting the company's visibility and recognition within the global wealth management community, particularly in countries like Kazakhstan, Turkey, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan. The Trust Officer will also develop professional relationships with key third parties, such as lawyers, bankers, and tax advisors, and support the team in managing wealth planning for existing clients in the Middle East and Asia. The main responsibilities include increasing market visibility, building professional relationships, and supporting wealth planning. The Trust Officer will work closely with a team to manage the wealth planning of existing clients in the Middle East and Asia, focusing on HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals) and their specific needs. The ideal candidate must have around five years of business experience in Trust and Wealth Planning for HNWI. Experience in a Trust company or a Law firm specializing in private clients or Single/Multi-family offices is essential. Familiarity with HNWI wealth planning, particularly in arts, collectibles, real estate, and shipping, is required. Knowledge of the legal aspects of private investments, real estate transactions, and corporate holdings, including drafting contracts and conducting due diligence and regulatory compliance, is crucial. The role also requires an LL.M. degree and familiarity with Sharia Law and its application in wealth planning. Perfect knowledge of English, Italian, and Russian, both written and spoken, is mandatory. A fourth language is a plus. The TEP qualification is also a plus.
