ANYbotics is a rapidly expanding technology firm that builds autonomous, high‑mobility robots for the energy, process and utility sectors. As a Product Manager for Physical AI you will act as the central link between commercial objectives, the strategic product vision and the world‑class robotics engineering groups that develop perception, navigation, behavior and locomotion capabilities for the ANYmal platform. In this position you will translate portfolio goals into detailed technical roadmaps together with the VP Robotics and the product organization. You will own the timing and prioritisation of improvements across the autonomy stack, embed key‑account insights into the roadmap, and define clear value propositions that drive resilience, reliability and coverage. Daily you will work side‑by‑side with R&D teams to turn product needs into functional specifications, set performance KPIs, manage technical risks and ensure smooth deployment of features at major customer sites. The role requires a solid technical foundation, typically an engineering or science degree focused on robotics, computer science or a comparable field. You must have proven experience with industrial customers and a clear understanding of their inspection needs, as well as hands‑on knowledge in at least one core robotics discipline such as perception, path planning, behavior or advanced locomotion control. Prior experience in technical product management of complex hardware‑software integrated solutions (for example autonomous vehicles or mobile robotics) is essential, together with familiarity in defining Operational Design Domains and handling associated safety and performance validation. Strong communication skills, the ability to convert ambiguous customer requirements into concrete development sprints, and a systems‑thinking mindset that links software‑driven behaviour to physical hardware are also mandatory. Additional advantages include practical exposure to real‑world robotics deployments in industrial, unstructured or outdoor environments, experience with mission‑critical or safety‑certified development processes, and proficiency with modern robotics toolsets such as ROS 2, simulation environments and data‑driven regression testing. The position is based in Zurich, offering a dynamic, fast‑growing environment, an ambitious team, a market‑aligned salary and an attractive employee stock ownership plan. What the role asks for: - Engineering or science degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent - Experience working with industrial customers on robotic inspection - Background in perception, navigation, behavior, or locomotion robotics - Technical product management of complex hardware‑software products - Defined Operational Design Domains and handled safety validation - Communicates complex technical ideas to engineers and non‑technical audiences - Translates ambiguous customer needs into concrete development sprints - Systems thinking linking software behavior and robot hardware - Practical robotics deployment experience in industrial or outdoor settings (nice-to-have) - Experience with mission‑critical or safety‑certified development processes (nice-to-have) - Proficiency with ROS2, simulation tools, data‑driven regression testing (nice-to-have)
