Interim Nursing Team Lead

The Kusnacht Practice is seeking an Interim Nursing Team Lead to head its nursing unit for a twelve‑month fixed term covering maternity leave, with the chance of extension. The practice delivers highly personalised healthcare to an international client base, integrating a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure top‑tier patient outcomes. In this position you will supervise the nursing staff, nurture a collaborative, high‑performance environment and oversee everyday operations such as scheduling and inter‑departmental coordination. You will design and run training sessions for both internal nurses and external providers, conduct regular audits to guarantee adherence to medical protocols and hygiene standards, and perform clinical duties including blood draws, infusions, EKGs and medication administration. Management of the Critical Incident Reporting System, handling of incident follow‑up, and liaison with partner laboratories, pharmacies and physicians are also central tasks, as is maintaining equipment, supplies and internal guidelines. Candidates must bring at least five years of professional nursing experience, fluency in German and English at C1 level or higher, and a completed “Pflegefachperson HF/FH” qualification. Eligibility to work in Switzerland is required. Proven ability to coordinate medical services, familiarity with infusion and phlebotomy procedures, and competence with electronic documentation and MS Office are essential. Strong organisational, leadership, communication and customer‑service skills, together with a high sense of responsibility and flexibility, are also mandatory. Previous experience in a comparable managerial role is advantageous, as is a proactive, innovative mindset.
