2027 - Internship, Quantitative Research and Trading

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager that builds data‑driven trading strategies across liquid asset classes worldwide. The firm combines research, technology and trading expertise to run systematic approaches, and it offers a 4‑ to 6‑month internship program that starts in 2027. Interns can be placed in any of the following hubs: Aarhus, Budapest, Dubai, Geneva, London, Paris or Zurich, and the program is open to both penultimate‑year and final‑year students. During the internship you will be embedded in a systematic team and work on authentic research or trading challenges. In the research track you will explore large, diverse data sets, generate hypotheses about underlying drivers, design and run tests, and iterate on findings to isolate predictive signals that could be turned into live strategies. In the trading track you will help deploy research outputs on the firm's systematic trading platform, monitor signal performance in production, analyse execution efficiency, and assist in risk identification and mitigation. Collaboration with senior researchers and traders is central, and you will regularly question assumptions, present results and refine approaches. The position is aimed at students who are in the penultimate or final year of a bachelor's, master's or PhD programme and who can commit to a 4‑ to 6‑month placement beginning in 2027. Candidates must be prepared to work in any of the listed locations and to engage with a rigorous, data‑focused environment. The internship provides exposure to a global research and execution platform, access to sophisticated tools, and the chance to see a research idea progress from concept to live trading.
