The Learning & Development Specialist role is part of the Global Learning & Development team, focusing on Performance and Succession Management modules. The specialist will work to ensure these modules empower HR teams and business partners to drive organizational effectiveness and talent growth. The main day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to design and develop global learning & development programs. The specialist will lead and manage the design, development, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of key L&D programs and solutions. This includes working with third-party vendors, managing resources, and handling budgets. The role also involves supporting the implementation of the competency model globally, streamlining development offerings, and identifying gaps in the portfolio. Additionally, the specialist will incorporate assessment approaches, leverage data and insights, and manage relationships with external vendors. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a degree in Human Resources, Adult Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, or a similar field. They should have 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, and/or Talent Management. Proficiency in English is required, with German and other languages being helpful but not mandatory. Candidates must also have subject matter expertise in adult development and adult learning principles, as well as experience in designing and developing programs for various hierarchical levels, including senior levels. Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills are essential. Nice-to-have skills include program, project, and portfolio management experience, including organizational and prioritization skills. The role may require some occasional travel.
