Belimo is seeking a skilled Trusted Firmware Verification Engineer to join their team. The company specializes in creating field devices for energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, with a focus on damper actuators, control valves, sensors, and meters. The Trusted Firmware Verification Engineer will be responsible for testing and validating secure embedded firmware solutions. This includes designing and implementing automated test solutions, verifying security features like Secure Boot and Secure Update, and coordinating with external development teams. The role also involves debugging, root-cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with security standards. To excel in this position, candidates must have a degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in embedded software development, firmware testing, and debugging is essential. Knowledge of Trusted Firmware-M (TF-M), PSA APIs, and secure firmware concepts is crucial. Proficiency in verification and validation methodologies, including white-box and black-box testing, is also required. Familiarity with test automation frameworks, particularly Robot Framework, and a good understanding of ARM Cortex architectures and embedded communication protocols are important.
