Payroll Specialist (60% - 80%)

The role is a Payroll Specialist position within a global organization. The company is a large, international entity. The main tasks involve overseeing the entire payroll process, from start to finish, in partnership with an external payroll provider. This includes reviewing and processing payroll changes, ensuring accurate and timely monthly payroll, and supporting monthly financial close activities. The role also involves collaborating with the Finance team on budget analysis, reconciling various payroll-related accounts, and handling HR invoices. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will communicate with social insurance institutions and address queries from employees and management regarding payroll. The role requires a minimum of four years of experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of Swiss payroll regulations and social security contributions. Proficiency in managing payroll processes with external providers is essential. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities are also necessary. Experience with payroll ERP systems is a must. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, with French and/or German being an advantage.
