Procurement/Category Manager

Logitech, a company known for its innovative technology products, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to join their Indirect Procurement organization as a Category Manager. This role is based in Cork, Ireland, with a hybrid work model that requires two days per week on-site. The Category Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to manage and optimize spend across assigned indirect procurement categories, ensuring that sourcing and category strategies deliver business value. The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Category Manager include building effective relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and procurement needs. This involves identifying opportunities to optimize spend, improve value, and support business objectives. The role also requires providing procurement guidance and market insights to help stakeholders make informed sourcing and supplier decisions. Additionally, the Category Manager will support the development and execution of category strategies across key indirect spend areas such as IT, Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Facilities, and other corporate services. This includes managing sourcing projects from opportunity identification through to supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and implementation. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of indirect procurement categories, sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations. Experience using spend analytics, dashboards, procurement technology, and AI-enabled tools is required. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities. Nice-to-have skills include experience supporting supplier performance, QBRs, and supplier risk management.
