Senior AI Compute Engineer

The Senior AI Compute Engineer will join the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists (NVIS) team, focusing on deploying and managing AI infrastructure for global customers. This role involves working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement large-scale AI projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The main responsibilities include deploying, managing, and maintaining AI infrastructure for both new and existing customers. The engineer will act as the domain expert during planning and implementation phases, providing essential documentation and knowledge transfers. Additionally, they will offer feedback to internal teams, suggesting improvements and documenting workarounds for any issues that arise. To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in data center support and deployment. Proficiency in Linux operating systems, data center network products, and monitoring solutions is essential. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, along with excellent verbal and written English, are required. Nice-to-have skills include NVIDIA Certification in AI Infrastructure and Operations, experience with Kubernetes, and familiarity with AI-focused hardware or software. Industry-standard data center certifications and scripting/automation tooling background are also valuable.
