The role of R&D Test and Integration Engineer at Creoptix AG, a brand of Malvern Panalytical, involves working on next-generation bioanalytical instruments. These instruments are based on proprietary Grating-Coupled-Interferometry (GCI) technology and are used in drug discovery and life sciences for both industry and academic research. The main day-to-day responsibilities include participating in the design, prototyping, and testing of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems with embedded software elements. This involves developing integration and testing procedures, as well as creating related documentation. The engineer will also develop test execution and data analysis software tools using Python, Lua, and HTML. Collaboration with production, quality assurance, and field service teams for handover and training is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the engineer will lead or participate in troubleshooting and root-cause finding investigations. To qualify for this role, candidates must have strong communication skills in English. They should have hands-on mechatronics expertise, comfortably working with mechanical, electrical/electronic, and software components.
