We are looking for a 6‑month Private Equity Partnership Investments Intern to join Partners Group in Baar, Switzerland. Partners Group is one of the world's largest private‑markets investment managers, overseeing about USD 185 billion in assets and serving more than 800 institutional investors across 24 offices. In this internship you will support the Private Equity Partnership Investments team on secondary, direct and primary deals. Daily tasks include analysing LP portfolios and GP‑led transactions, contributing to due‑diligence work such as financial modelling, valuation and risk assessment, and maintaining core limited‑partnership models. You will also help source and evaluate direct private‑equity opportunities, conduct industry and company research, and prepare investment theses, models and due‑diligence reports. For primary investments you will monitor fund performance, perform market analysis and assist in drafting investment recommendations and performance updates for the Investment Committee. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline. Prior internship experience in private equity, investment banking or a comparable field is expected. You must demonstrate strong analytical skills, solid financial‑modeling and valuation capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication. The ability to work both independently and as part of a fast‑paced team, a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are also essential. An advanced degree or CFA designation is considered a plus.
