The Site Facility Manager role at Estée Lauder Companies involves overseeing the integrated facility management at the Lachen production site. Estée Lauder is a global leader in prestige beauty, known for its skincare, makeup, fragrances, and hair care products, with a significant presence in Switzerland as the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail and EMEA. The main day-to-day responsibilities include leading and coordinating facility management across production, logistics, and office areas. This involves ensuring high standards in safety, security, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, as well as maintaining facilities to support business continuity. The role also includes overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems, managing operations, and coordinating construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects. Additionally, the Site Facility Manager will manage external service providers, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as the key contact for authorities, insurance providers, and external partners. They will also lead CAPEX and facility-related investment projects, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements. Supporting crisis management and risk mitigation, as well as managing and controlling facility and utility budgets, are also key aspects of the role. To qualify for this position, candidates must have an Engineering degree (BSc or higher) and at least 5 years of experience in facility management within production environments. Strong knowledge of utilities, infrastructure, and compliance, as well as experience in project and vendor management, are essential. Fluency in German and English is required. The role demands analytical, hands-on, and solution-oriented skills. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to thrive in an international, fast-paced, and high-touch environment.
