IT Production Engineer (80-100%)

Lombard Odier, a globally recognised wealth and asset manager with a strong emphasis on sustainable investing, seeks an IT Production Engineer to support its modernising IT platform. The firm, operating from more than 25 offices across four continents and managing close to CHF 300 billion, offers a comprehensive suite of discretionary and advisory portfolio services, wealth solutions and custody, alongside advanced banking technology for other institutions. In this role you will test and move banking applications into production following defined process frameworks, help evolve application platforms such as OpenShift with a focus on stability and operability, and suggest improvements to existing procedures. You will provide Level 2/3 support for banking applications, participate in on‑call rotations, and coordinate cross‑functional issues involving integration, databases, systems, network, development, service desk and external service providers. The position requires a higher education qualification in IT and a solid grasp of DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Kubernetes, OpenShift and Docker. You should be comfortable with application development environments and languages such as Java, JBoss, C++, Apache and IIS, as well as scripting in PowerShell and scheduling tasks. The ideal candidate is responsible, rigorous, versatile and flexible, possesses strong interpersonal skills, works well in a team, seeks continuous improvement and can articulate ideas. Fluency in both English and French and residence in Switzerland—or a willingness to relocate—are mandatory. Both junior and senior profiles are welcome to join a 15‑person IT Production team based in Luxembourg and Geneva. The environment values excellence, innovation, respect and integrity, and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion, offering opportunities for internal mobility and personal upskilling. This is an exciting moment to contribute to Lombard Odier’s “Rethink Everything” philosophy and help shape the bank of tomorrow.
