Local Maps Search Evaluator

The position of Local Maps Search Evaluator is part of the Milky Way initiative, a search‑engine evaluation effort aimed at improving map and geo‑localisation services. Evaluators help shape more precise and user‑friendly mapping applications by reviewing how well search results match what internet users are looking for. Each day you will examine a variety of map‑related queries, judging the relevance of results, interpreting user intent, and confirming the correctness of location data. Work is organized around weekly performance targets, and you will join study sessions led by a Project Manager. The first two weeks include a paid orientation phase followed by a production period with higher rates, after which regular compensation continues. To qualify, you must have lived at least five years in one of the listed countries, speak the local language fluently, and possess a reliable computer and internet connection. Availability of ten hours per week is required, with a completely flexible schedule that you set yourself. Completion of the entry training is mandatory, and a CV must be uploaded to your OneForma profile before applying. The role offers long‑term remote work with continuous guidance, including welcome calls and daily communications from the team. A dedicated Project Manager is available throughout, and the compensation model pays a fixed amount for each approved asset. This setup allows you to contribute to map quality improvements while working from any eligible location.
