Head of Communications & Public Affairs in Switzerland

Adnovum, a Swiss‑based specialist in software engineering, cybersecurity and digital transformation, is looking for a Head of Communications & Public Affairs to join its executive team. The role will act as a strategic partner to the Executive Board, shaping the firm's corporate narrative, enhancing its market reputation and positioning the company as a trusted voice in its core technology sectors. On a daily basis the incumbent will design and implement the overall communications and public‑affairs strategy, drive thought‑leadership programmes and cultivate relationships with journalists, industry associations and public institutions. They will advise senior leaders on reputation management, stakeholder engagement and executive visibility, oversee media relations across Swiss outlets, protect and evolve the brand identity, and align all communication activities with business priorities while managing reputational risks. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Political Science or Business Administration and brings 10‑15 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs or related media functions. A well‑established network of Swiss journalists and editors, proven expertise in guiding executives on communication strategy, and deep familiarity with the Swiss media, regulatory and public‑affairs landscape are essential. Experience in crafting corporate narratives, executive positioning and brand messaging across multiple channels, as well as a background in technology, digital transformation or cybersecurity communications, is required. The role also demands the highest standards of integrity, discretion and sound judgment, native‑level German, fluent English, and French language skills are considered a plus.
