Project Manager (m/f/d) – HVAC & Infrastructure

The opening is for a Project Manager focused on HVAC and infrastructure, responsible for steering construction and technical projects through planning, execution and hand‑over in a fast‑moving setting. In this position you will direct several HVAC and infrastructure assignments, aligning multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders to keep work flowing smoothly. You will keep close watch on budgets, schedules, risk registers and documentation, while reviewing proposals, cost estimates and contractor performance. The role also covers handling change orders, negotiations, claims and contract administration, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that safety, regulatory and sustainability criteria are met. Regular reporting, governance updates and clear communication in both German and English are required, as is supporting the transition of finished facilities into operational use with proper close‑out records and warranties. The essential background includes a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline and at least three years of project‑management experience in construction, industrial or technical environments. Candidates must possess solid knowledge of HVAC systems and infrastructure topics, familiarity with Swiss construction standards such as SIA, and an understanding of relevant regulatory and procurement frameworks. Strong written and verbal communication, documentation abilities, stakeholder management, and proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting and presentation tools are mandatory, as is fluency in English and German. Additional strengths valued are experience in pharma or biotech settings, prior team‑leadership or business‑development roles, and an entrepreneurial attitude that enables independent work on multiple priorities.
