Tethys Robotics is a pioneering company in underwater robotics, developing innovative solutions for subsea inspection and investigation. The company serves clients in high-demand, mission-critical environments, including governmental organizations and large asset operators. As an ETH Zürich spin-off, Tethys Robotics is experiencing rapid growth and is backed by strong funding, making it an exciting time to join the team. The Business Development Intern will support various aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, and field operations. This role involves assisting with customer conversations, running field demonstrations, and contributing to the technical positioning of the company's robots. The intern will also help with prospecting, qualifying leads, and preparing customer meetings, as well as creating pitch decks, case studies, and demo materials. Additionally, the intern will assist in planning and executing trade show logistics, mapping new market segments, and drafting content for demand generation. To excel in this role, candidates must be currently studying or recently graduated in a technical field such as engineering, robotics, or computer science, or in a business field. They should have a genuine curiosity for robotics, sensor technology, or maritime technologies, along with excellent communication skills and intercultural competence. Fluency in professional English and German, both written and spoken, is essential. Flexibility for occasional national and international travel is also required. Nice-to-have skills include previous experience with robotics in the maritime sector, familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, and experience in business development. The role is based in the Zurich area, offering a dynamic team environment and a modern office close to both the city and the lake.
