The role of a Site IT Infrastructure Specialist is based on-site in Rotkreuz, where the specialist will serve as the central point of contact for the local IT infrastructure. The main day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the stability, availability, and security of the IT infrastructure. This involves coordinating and escalating infrastructure incidents, planning maintenance and upgrades, and monitoring the local network infrastructure. The specialist will also manage the installation, replacement, and lifecycle of infrastructure hardware, as well as support various projects such as office relocations and new construction. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with service providers, ensuring compliance with IT security standards, and supporting business continuity measures. To excel in this role, candidates must have several years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, or network engineering. Solid knowledge of LAN, WLAN, WAN, and internet connectivity is essential, as is experience with infrastructure hardware and technical infrastructure projects. Proficiency in coordinating incidents, escalations, and external IT service providers is also required. Strong communication and coordination skills, along with a professional approach to dealing with different stakeholders, are crucial.
