The position of Part‑time House Parent (male) is based at Collège du Léman in Geneva, a leading international boarding school that belongs to the Nord Anglia Education network. The role centres on creating a caring, energetic atmosphere within the residential community, acting as a mentor and role model for boarders. Each shift involves living overnight in the house and overseeing the well‑being of students, from emotional and physical health to academic monitoring. Daily duties include supervising meals, organising weekend programmes, and occasionally driving pupils. The incumbent must keep close contact with teachers, the counselling team and the health centre, report progress to parents, and respond to emergencies or maintenance problems according to established procedures. Administrative tasks such as record‑keeping and ensuring smooth house operations are also required. Applicants need proven experience with children or adolescents, a resilient and upbeat attitude, and strong organisational abilities. Fluency in English is essential, while French language skills are highly valued for the bilingual setting. A valid driver’s licence, excellent interpersonal communication, and a willingness to engage fully in boarding life are mandatory. Candidates must be European citizens or hold a Swiss work permit and be prepared for background checks covering the past decade.
