Crypto Manager Research Analyst

Forteus is an asset‑management firm that concentrates on digital assets and operates under the backing of Schroders plc, one of Europe’s largest managers. The company combines institutional discipline with an entrepreneurial outlook, and it is looking for a Manager Research Analyst to become part of its research group. In this position the analyst will lead comprehensive due‑diligence work on quantitative and systematic crypto strategies, examining how each strategy is built, how signals are generated, and how risk is managed. The role also involves evaluating the research capabilities and infrastructure of managers, conducting on‑site visits and calls, and drafting clear, structured reports. Day‑to‑day duties include maintaining an up‑to‑date database of strategies, managers and performance figures, tracking changes in assets, personnel and risk events, helping to set and calibrate risk limits, and monitoring live managed accounts for deviations or emerging risks. The analyst will also produce regular research notes, portfolio reviews and contribute to thematic studies or ad‑hoc projects. Candidates must possess a strong quantitative background
