The Designer Outlet position at Guess focuses on turning emerging fashion and consumer insights into market‑ready products that embody the Factory Outlet brand. As part of a global, sustainable and people‑first company, the role sits at the intersection of design, merchandising and product development, helping shape the assortment that reaches customers worldwide. Day‑to‑day duties involve steering the entire design cycle from initial concept through final delivery. You will collaborate closely with buying and product development colleagues to align priorities, craft seasonal mood boards that illustrate silhouettes, fabrics and details, and produce technical flat sketches for tech packs. Responsibilities also include selecting fabrics and trims, entering new styles into the internal PLM system with appropriate codes and BOMs, continuously updating style status, and overseeing sample fittings alongside pattern makers. Additional tasks cover supporting the visual team with seasonal guidelines, and, when required, visiting trade shows, stores, suppliers or manufacturers to gather market intelligence. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or diploma in fashion or design arts and at least three to four years of comparable experience. Candidates must demonstrate deep knowledge of fashion trends, a strong sense of brand DNA, commercial awareness, and the ability to juggle multiple projects against tight deadlines. Fluency in English, proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, and extensive use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are essential, while experience with Clo 3D is considered advantageous. Travel flexibility and a proactive, dynamic attitude are also required.
