Cybersecurity Engineer - Zero Trust

cogify group, a Swiss‑origin firm that blends consulting, artificial intelligence, software development, cybersecurity and digital products, is expanding its security practice and seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Zero Trust. The position sits at the crossroads of security, infrastructure, cloud services and delivery, translating protection needs into dependable technical implementations. In this role you will design, configure and roll out Zero Trust controls, handling identity‑and‑access management, multi‑factor authentication, single sign‑on, conditional access and least‑privilege policies. You will also deploy ZTNA, SASE, network segmentation and secure connectivity across cloud, hybrid and on‑premise settings, while integrating identity providers, applications and security platforms. Daily tasks include testing and fine‑tuning security tools, analysing incidents, supporting remediation, enhancing monitoring and logging, automating configurations where valuable, and documenting solutions. Collaboration with cybersecurity architects, cloud, infrastructure, DevOps and software teams is essential throughout design to production. The ideal candidate has proven experience in cybersecurity engineering, network or cloud security, or a comparable technical field, and a solid grasp of Zero Trust concepts and modern security technologies. Hands‑on expertise in at least one area such as IAM, ZTNA, SASE, network segmentation, cloud or endpoint security is required, together with a strong understanding of enterprise networks, identity, authentication and cloud environments. Analytical troubleshooting skills, the ability to convert technical requirements into reliable builds, an independent quality‑driven work style, and fluency in English or German are mandatory. Additional assets include familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, or similar solutions, experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, scripting or IaC tools like PowerShell, Python, Terraform or Ansible, and knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001 or Zero Trust frameworks. cogify offers a competitive salary, flexible work arrangements, modern technology stacks and genuine ownership of projects, allowing you to deepen expertise across security, cloud, AI and software domains.
