The position of Distinguished PQC Cryptography & Architecture Leader is located on‑site in Geneva, Switzerland, and will steer the technical direction of a post‑quantum cryptography (PQC) hardware‑acceleration programme that underpins hardware security modules and network‑appliance products. In this senior role you will shape the complete architecture of a multi‑algorithm PQC accelerator that supports ML‑KEM, ML‑DSA and SLH‑DSA/LMS. Responsibilities include deciding how hardware and firmware are partitioned, sizing throughput lanes based on real‑world traffic models, and defining a stable core‑interface that allows cryptographic cores to evolve without breaking contracts. You will also own the algorithm and standards strategy, covering NIST FIPS 203/204/205, CNSA 2.0 and FIPS 140‑3, guide make‑or‑buy and IP‑licensing choices, and work with side‑channel and compliance experts to craft the security and certification architecture. The role demands setting the technical roadmap, arbitrating cross‑domain design trade‑offs, mentoring senior engineers in each discipline, and representing the programme to customers, standards bodies, certification labs and senior executives. The employer seeks a candidate with an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cryptography or a closely related discipline. You must bring at least fifteen years of experience designing complex digital security hardware, with deep, hands‑on involvement in cryptographic implementations that have genuine post‑quantum depth.
