Procurement Specialist

Hyperscale Power develops the power conversion backbone for the AI data‑center era, delivering compact SiC‑based AC/DC and DC/DC blocks that turn medium‑voltage AC into low‑voltage DC. As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for securing all materials, equipment, tools, parts and services that keep the prototype, pilot and volume‑production lines moving forward. In this role you will create and manage contracts and purchase orders for raw materials, components and services, negotiate prices, terms and delivery dates with suppliers, and monitor order progress to meet production timelines. You will work hand‑in‑hand with the Supply Chain Coordinator on inventory, lead‑times and logistics, while translating engineering specifications into clear sourcing requests. Additionally, you will support supplier qualification, maintain purchasing records, and contribute to cost‑reduction and alternative‑sourcing initiatives as the company scales from Alpha readiness to full production. The position requires a bachelor's degree in supply‑chain management, business administration, engineering or a comparable field, and at least three years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably within electronics or hardware manufacturing. Strong negotiation abilities and a proven track record of managing supplier contracts are essential. Candidates must be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and be detail‑oriented with solid data‑analysis and record‑keeping skills, comfortable using ERP systems or spreadsheets. The ability to work collaboratively across engineering and operations in a fast‑paced startup environment is also required.
