The Global Mobility Specialist role is crucial for managing international assignments and ensuring fair and consistent standards for employees moving across borders. The main responsibilities of the Global Mobility Specialist include supporting the implementation and administration of the Global Mobility program, assisting with the full lifecycle of international assignments, and managing assignment costs. The role also involves coordinating immigration and work permit applications, administering global social security and health insurance, and contributing to the annual compensation review. Additionally, the specialist will support vendor management, process improvement, and cross-border tax and social security topics. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in banking, finance, business administration, economics, or human resources. A minimum of three years of professional experience in Global Mobility, preferably in a multinational company or consultant capacity, is required. Strong understanding of international assignment types, shadow payroll, and Swiss income tax is essential. Knowledge of global tax and social security systems is also crucial.
