Physics Expert - Remote

The position of Physics Expert is a remote contract role that centers on using deep physics knowledge to influence the training of cutting‑edge artificial‑intelligence models. The work will directly affect how these systems acquire, reason about, and apply scientific concepts drawn from authentic, real‑world material. Day‑to‑day duties involve dissecting and summarising intricate physics publications, crafting and reviewing a variety of physics‑based questions and problem sets, pulling out essential data, carrying out precise calculations, and confirming the correctness of analytical outcomes. You will also produce clear written rationales for technical challenges, cooperate with a geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary team, and uphold rigorous standards of accuracy while adhering to project timelines. Applicants must have at least two years of professional experience in physics or a closely related discipline, whether in academia, a laboratory, or industry. Excellent command of written and spoken English, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of interpreting and synthesising technical literature are required. Experience in designing or editing scientific questions, the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, strong analytical reasoning, and effective time‑management skills are also essential. Ideal candidates hold an MSc or PhD in physics or a similar field and have previously engaged with AI, educational‑technology, or digital content initiatives. Familiarity with cross‑disciplinary scientific analysis and collaborative project workflows is considered a plus.
