The role is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is a temporary, full-time position lasting from November 2026 to July 2027. The main responsibilities of this role include managing Swiss tax compliance, tax planning, and project management. This involves preparing and managing direct tax, capital tax, and withholding tax compliance, as well as income tax provision calculations. The role also includes supporting strategic tax planning, leading tax-related projects, and advising on audits and inspections. Additionally, the position involves assisting with due diligence and tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, and ensuring timely completion of tax filings. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including finance teams, other departments, and external consultants. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of corporate tax experience, with a solid understanding of Swiss income tax, capital tax, and withholding tax. A Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting or a related field is required, with a Master's Degree in Taxation being preferred. Experience as an in-house tax manager in a multinational group and experience with tax compliance activities for Swiss multinational companies are also preferred. Proficiency in Oracle, OneStream, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with knowledge of Alteryx being a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are also required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with quarterly income tax accounting, reporting, and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP, and proficiency in additional European languages, especially French. The role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing for both remote and on-premises work.
