Matchspace Music, Europe's leading music education platform, is seeking a Product Owner & Business Analyst. The company empowers thousands of music teachers to build sustainable careers and is rapidly expanding across international markets. The role involves working directly with the VP Product. The main responsibilities include feature conceptualization, turning evidence into product ideas, and running the full cycle from insight to sprint-ready stories. Additionally, the role involves requirements engineering, transforming customer insights into clear, buildable user stories. Sprint operations, including backlog hygiene and dependency tracking, are also key tasks. The role also includes UAT, QA, and testing, owning regression and release testing, and supporting end-to-end dry runs. Lastly, the role involves analytics and performance measurement, owning recurring KPI reporting and turning data into actionable insights. Candidates must have a relevant degree in business engineering, IT, information systems, digital business administration, or a related field, either ongoing or recently completed. They should be analytical and creative, enjoying data analysis and problem-solving. The role requires a structured and detail-oriented approach, with a comfort level in data and software development technicalities. Proficiency in German (min. B2) and English (C1) is essential, with English being the main operating language. Experience with AI tools in daily productivity workflows and a genuine curiosity about software development are also required. The ability to self-manage in a fast-moving, distributed team is crucial. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Agile/Scrum, ticket systems, manual QA, or test-case experience, and an interest in music, education, or marketplaces. The team is dynamic and cross-functional, spanning Product, Marketing, and Customer Success. Sie finden saubere Dokumentation und reproduzierbare Analyse befriedigend, nicht lästig. - Komfortabel mit Daten. Excel/Sheets auf einem soliden Niveau, in der Lage, Dashboards zu lesen, bereit, schnell zu lernen. - Komfortabel und selbstbewusst mit Softwareentwicklungstechniken, mit dem Ansehen von Softwarecode und dem Verständnis von Code mit Hilfe von KI. - Fließend in Deutsch (min. B2) und Englisch (C1). Sie können eine Anforderung schreiben, die jemand anderes bauen kann. Ihre Hauptbetriebssprache ist Englisch. Deutsch ist für unseren Schweizer Heimatmarkt unerlässlich. - Bereits AI-Tools in Ihren täglichen Produktivitätsworkflow integriert und ehrlich neugierig, wie Software gebaut wird. - Selbstmanagend in einem schnelllebigen, verteilten Team.
