Logistics Stream Lead - RM Group

The position is a Logistics Stream Lead for a manufacturing client based in Zurich. In this role you will steer the logistics workstream that underpins the design of warehouses, the flow of materials, migration activities and the preparation for operations on a newly consolidated campus. You will be responsible for shaping the scope, timeline, milestones, risks and dependencies of the stream while keeping a decision log that aligns with the broader programme. The job involves creating future‑state procedures for inbound handling, storage, replenishment, line feeding, internal transport, packaging, outbound and reverse logistics. You will also coordinate layout, capacity, equipment, automation and technology needs with internal teams and external suppliers, and ensure that physical flows match SAP logistics processes, enterprise structures, plant and storage‑location setups, master data and migration tasks. Managing business continuity, cut‑over readiness, transition sequencing, inventory planning and post‑go‑live stabilisation are also part of the remit. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading complex warehouse, intralogistics, material‑flow or site‑consolidation projects within a manufacturing environment, along with deep knowledge of warehouse design, material‑flow engineering, automation and operational readiness. Familiarity with SAP logistics, enterprise structures, master‑data handling and migration impacts is required, as is experience in project governance, stakeholder and supplier management, financial control and risk handling. Fluency in German is mandatory, and strong analytical, communication and decision‑making abilities are essential. The role is based in Zurich, offers a hybrid work setting, a 12‑month full‑time contract starting as soon as possible, and is open to Swiss nationals, EU citizens and current Swiss work‑permit holders.
