Project Management Lead

Flybotix, a Swiss‑based robotics scale‑up celebrated as the top robotics start‑up for 2023/24, seeks a Project Management Lead to steer its engineering and product development portfolio. The role anchors project execution to the company’s strategic goals, ensuring that cross‑functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, Operations and other units stay aligned with overall priorities. On a daily basis the lead will craft and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones and resource allocations, while continuously tracking progress, budgets, risks and dependencies. They will coordinate project meetings, steering committees and reviews, facilitate clear communication among teams and stakeholders, and enforce governance and reporting frameworks that guarantee transparency. When issues arise, the lead is expected to apply corrective actions, escalate critical matters, support resource planning, oversee compliance with Flybotix policies and quality standards, and drive project closure activities such as acceptance reviews and lessons‑learned sessions. The position requires at least five years of direct project‑management experience in an engineering environment and a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline. Candidates must be familiar with product cycles and certification processes for drones, robotics or similar technologies, and possess strong expertise in planning, scheduling, milestone tracking and reporting tools. Proficiency with MS Project, Jira or comparable software and advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential, as are solid organisational abilities, attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced scale‑up. Fluency in English, excellent collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills, and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset are also required.
