The position of Hospital Specialist, Endocrinology and Metabolic Health is based in Switzerland and is part of Syneos Health, a global organization that partners with biopharmaceutical companies to bring therapies to patients. The role focuses on advancing an innovative portfolio that addresses endocrine and metabolic disorders across a designated European market, aiming to improve outcomes for individuals living with these conditions. Day‑to‑day duties involve overseeing a defined geographic area and cultivating high‑value relationships with endocrinologists, diabetologists, specialist nurses, pharmacists and other key stakeholders. The specialist will design and implement territory plans that align with budgetary limits and timelines, using market intelligence and analytics to prioritize accounts and allocate resources efficiently. Interactions with healthcare professionals will be delivered through in‑person visits, virtual meetings and digital platforms, always adhering to scientific rigor, compliance standards and local regulations. The incumbent will also present approved clinical data, support promotional and educational initiatives, and collaborate closely with sales leadership, medical, marketing and operational colleagues to share insights and coordinate activities. The ideal candidate must have a proven record of launching and promoting complex products within hospital, specialist or secondary‑care settings. A solid grasp of hospital decision‑making structures, treatment pathways and account‑management principles is essential. The role requires the ability to connect with clinicians across multiple channels, as well as experience organizing compliant promotional meetings, congress participation and other approved engagement events. Strong communication, influencing, presentation and negotiation capabilities are mandatory, together with sharp analytical, planning and organisational skills. A history of effective teamwork with sales, marketing, medical and operational functions while respecting functional boundaries and compliance rules is required. Proficiency with CRM systems and approved digital engagement tools, coupled with a disciplined approach to activity recording, data quality and insight capture, is also expected. Candidates must be self‑driven, accountable, results‑focused and possess an entrepreneurial attitude. Legal and regulatory eligibility for pharmaceutical representation in the country of employment, a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory are compulsory. While not a strict prerequisite, experience within endocrinology, diabetes, obesity or broader metabolic health fields is highly valued. Prior work engaging endocrinologists, diabetologists, obesity specialists, metabolic physicians, specialist nurses, pharmacists and multidisciplinary care teams is considered advantageous. A bachelor's degree in life sciences or comparable relevant experience is preferred. The role offers the chance to join a high‑performing team, benefit from Syneos Health's diverse and inclusive culture, and contribute to a fast‑moving commercial environment that supports professional growth and the delivery of life‑changing therapies to patients worldwide.
