Gramian Consultancy is a boutique consultancy that specializes in IT professional services and engineering talent solutions. They are currently looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support a client, an established industrial manufacturer operating in a technically demanding production environment. This role focuses on optimizing and modernizing manufacturing operations, particularly in precision machining. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing precision machining processes and production workflows, supporting the design and implementation of new production cells, and contributing to Lean and continuous‑improvement initiatives. They will also support equipment and tooling decisions, improve factory layouts and manufacturing flow, and develop and validate tooling and fixturing solutions. Additionally, they will review and improve machining logic and CNC programming sequences, coordinate technical activities across production and engineering teams, and support industrialization and production‑performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in industrial production environments, with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a closely related function. They should have strong hands‑on experience with precision machining equipment, including lathes, milling centers, and grinding systems. Experience with Lean/continuous‑improvement methodologies, production equipment, tooling, and manufacturing‑process optimization is also required. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline and possess full professional proficiency in French. The role is a permanent, full‑time position located on‑site in the Jura canton, Switzerland, and involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary technical teams across production, engineering, and industrialization.
