Cybersecurity Engineer - Zero Trust

cogify group, a Swiss‑origin firm that blends consulting, AI, software engineering, cybersecurity and digital products, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Zero Trust. The position sits at the crossroads of security, infrastructure, cloud and delivery, turning security needs into dependable technical implementations. In this role you will design, configure and integrate Zero Trust solutions, handling identity and access management, multi‑factor authentication, single sign‑on and conditional access. You will also deploy ZTNA, SASE, network segmentation and secure connectivity across cloud, hybrid and on‑premise settings, as well as endpoint, network, identity and workload protections. Tasks include linking identity providers with applications, testing and fine‑tuning security tools, analysing incidents, supporting remediation, enhancing monitoring and logging, automating configurations where valuable, and documenting the technical designs. Collaboration with cybersecurity architects, cloud, infrastructure, DevOps and software teams is a daily element, extending from design through production. The ideal candidate has proven experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related technical field, a solid grasp of Zero Trust concepts and modern security technologies, and hands‑on expertise in at least one area such as IAM, ZTNA, SASE, network segmentation, cloud or endpoint security. A strong understanding of enterprise networks, identity, authentication and cloud environments, coupled with analytical and troubleshooting abilities, is required. Fluency in English or German is mandatory, and the applicant should demonstrate an independent, quality‑driven work style. Additional assets include familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Cloudflare or CrowdStrike, experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, scripting or IaC skills (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible), knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001 or Zero Trust frameworks, relevant certifications, and proficiency in German, French or other languages. cogify offers a competitive salary, flexible work arrangements, modern technology stacks and the chance to own real‑world security projects alongside diverse engineering teams.
