IT Service & Operations Specialist, Boost inc - Lugano (100%)

Boost inc, a rapidly expanding player in unattended‑retail technology with over 800 customers and a 150‑person team, is looking for an IT Service & Operations Specialist to become the main point of contact for its Digital Workplace ecosystem. The role is fully onsite in the Ticino hub near the Italian border, with occasional trips to Zurich. In this position you will resolve everyday software and hardware problems, set up new employees’ devices, and run practical training sessions on tools such as VMS, Hubspot, MDM, Google Workspace, Slack and Gemini. You will also lead rollouts of integrations, cybersecurity measures and new applications, keep the hardware inventory and license records up to date, and translate internal IT policies into clear guides for teams across six countries. The ideal candidate brings three to five years of hands‑on IT support, preferably from an MSP or a fast‑paced tech environment, and is comfortable with modern workplace platforms, SaaS solutions and security tools. Fluency in English is required; Italian or German are advantageous. You must live near the Ticino office and be able to travel to Zurich once or twice a month. This role offers high visibility, direct impact on daily operations and a chance to move from multi‑client firefighting to owning internal IT enablement.
