Laundry Runner

The Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva is looking for a Laundry Runner to keep the hotel's linen flow smooth and reliable. The property, a historic landmark on Lake Geneva, offers luxury accommodation, a rooftop spa, Michelin‑starred dining and a vibrant service environment. The role supports the overall guest experience by ensuring that every department receives the correct amount of clean linen and that stock levels stay within the hotel's standards. Each day the Laundry Runner receives clean linen deliveries, checks the quantities against the accompanying sheets and reports any mismatches to the Laundry Manager. After verification, the employee distributes the linen to guest rooms, pantry areas, the spa and food‑and‑beverage storage, while keeping those supply rooms tidy and well‑ordered. The position also involves moving used linen to the designated storage area, separating damaged items for re‑treatment, updating the inventory tracking sheet, and assisting with quarterly stock counts for both linens and uniforms. Additional tasks include supporting uniform attendants during inventory periods, helping with carpet and furniture de‑staining, and participating in deep‑cleaning projects when required. The hotel expects candidates to speak French fluently and to be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook and Word. Strong organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail are essential, as is the capacity to protect confidential information about guests, staff and the company. Applicants must hold Swiss nationality, a Swiss residence permit, or be citizens of an EU member state. Compliance with health‑ and safety training and the ability to follow all safety procedures are also mandatory. While the core duties focus on linen handling, the role offers the chance to work in a prestigious setting with a diverse, international team.
