Senior Events & Communications Manager, 60% in Zurich

The position of Senior Events & Communications Manager (60 % work‑time) is based in Zurich at responsAbility, a Swiss impact‑focused asset manager. The firm channels debt and equity capital into financial institutions, businesses and mid‑market funds across emerging economies, aiming to deliver measurable social and environmental benefits while achieving market‑level returns. As part of the M&G Investments family, responsAbility oversees roughly USD 6 billion in assets spread over about 70 countries. In this role you will shape the narrative for senior‑level events, conferences and speaking slots, turning intricate investment themes into clear, compelling messages. Responsibilities include full ownership of the company's events and town‑hall meetings, from planning and content creation to speaker coaching and post‑event follow‑up. You will also support the CEO and other executives with briefing documents, presentations and briefing notes, while coordinating communication across internal and external channels. Close collaboration with investment, sales, Impact & ESG teams and the senior marketing colleague ensures that event material can be reused for sales outreach and broader brand communication, all while respecting compliance, risk and sustainability guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a university qualification in communications, marketing, business administration, finance or a comparable discipline, and brings seven to ten years of experience within asset management, investment management or banking. Proven expertise in communications, executive engagement or event management is essential, together with outstanding writing, editing and presentation abilities. Mastery of PowerPoint and the skill to craft executive‑level storylines from complex data are required, as is a track record of preparing senior leaders for public appearances. Strong organisational and project‑management capabilities, a proactive and collaborative working style, and familiarity with digital and internal communication platforms complete the core profile. Fluency in English is mandatory. The role sits within a dynamic Marketing & Communications team in Zurich, reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications and working alongside a senior counterpart in events.
