Senior Product Development Engineer

Nobel Biocare is looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer to help shape the next generation of dental‑implant solutions. The company develops advanced oral‑health technologies and needs a driven engineer to lead technical projects from concept through market launch. In this role you will create and refine new products following the company's Design Control and Idea‑to‑Market framework. Daily tasks include planning, executing and coordinating design verification and validation, guaranteeing that all specifications and documentation are ready on schedule. You will own the cross‑functional delivery of development files, work with external partners, suppliers and key opinion leaders, and flag patent‑worthy concepts to the IP team. Continuous reporting to line and project managers and raising issues promptly are also part of the routine. The position requires a solid technical foundation, such as a Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent degree in biomedical, mechanical or a related engineering discipline. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, while German knowledge is considered beneficial. Candidates must have at least five years of proven experience in product development or technical project leadership within the medical‑device sector, preferably dental, and a track record of steering technical projects in matrix‑type organizations. Proficiency with 3D CAD, CAM, SAP and the Microsoft Office suite, as well as familiarity with Design Control, Idea‑to‑Market and risk‑management processes, is essential. Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities, together with a high degree of integrity and a customer‑focused mindset, are also required.
