Staff Cryptography Engineer

The Staff Cryptography Engineer will focus on implementing and maintaining post-quantum cryptography (PQC) hardware acceleration for Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and network-appliance products. This role involves developing reference models, optimized implementations, and test infrastructure for cryptographic algorithms. The engineer will work closely with hardware and firmware teams, providing algorithm expertise and supporting debugging and certification processes. To excel in this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in Cryptography, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in implementing cryptographic algorithms or security-critical software in C/C++ or Rust. A solid understanding of modern cryptographic primitives and exposure to post-quantum schemes is essential. Fluency in English is required, with French or German being an advantage. The role is based onsite in Geneva, Switzerland. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with NIST test-vector formats, CAVP/ACVP, or certification-oriented development.
