The role is a Senior RF/Analog IC Designer at a company that develops cutting-edge Analog/RF/mmWave circuits and systems for AI datacentres. The company is based in Switzerland. The main day-to-day responsibilities include designing, drafting, testing, and releasing new products, devices, circuits, and systems. The role involves taking ownership of assigned design activities, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and collaborating with various engineering teams. Additionally, the designer will collect, analyze, and summarize simulation and test data, and support the Product Engineering group in transferring products to production. The must-have requirements include an MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering, around 4 years of hands-on experience in Analog/RF IC design, and extensive knowledge of Analog/RF/mmWave circuits and systems. The role requires expertise in BiCMOS and PAM4 technologies, as well as proficiency in using industry-standard electronics simulation tools and software, such as Cadence and ADS, and test equipment like Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers. Experience with Electro-magnetic, Electro-optic, and thermal simulations is also necessary. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with integration processes and designing for high yield and cost efficiency, and expertise in the operation and calibration of industry-standard test equipment. Hands-on experience in designing evaluation boards, addressing both electrical and thermal considerations, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are also beneficial. The role is based in Switzerland and is 5 days office based.
