Rothschild & Co, a family‑controlled global financial services group with more than 200 years of history, is expanding its Global Advisory team in Zurich. The firm advises large and mid‑size corporations, private‑equity owners, families, entrepreneurs and governments on strategic M&A, equity and debt financing. As an Analyst or Associate you will join the most active M&A and financing adviser in Switzerland, supporting the design and execution of transactions that shape client growth. In this role you will juggle several deals at once, contributing across all critical workstreams. Tasks range from market outreach and initial opportunity assessment to detailed execution support, including the preparation of corporate‑finance analyses, client presentations, information memoranda and offering documents. You will lead junior colleagues on specific workstreams, ensure high‑quality deliverables under tight deadlines, and help drive client development through professional relationship building. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and prior experience in investment banking. Candidates must demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of building and owning financial models and valuations while deeply understanding financial statements. Leadership skills are essential to guide junior team members and foster collaboration across geographies. You should be adept at managing multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment, presenting to clients, and taking on project‑management responsibilities. A solid grasp of the financial and regulatory landscape surrounding M&A and financing, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and familiarity with FactSet are also mandatory. A master’s degree is viewed favorably but not compulsory.
