TJB, a company driven by the idea of creating a better roofing business, is seeking an Ekonomiansvarig/Controller to join their growing team. TJB, founded in 2001, has evolved from a small company with a few products to a broader operation with its own production, logistics, and a wide range of customers across Sweden. With over 25 employees and an annual turnover of approximately 140 MSEK, TJB values entrepreneurship, short decision-making processes, and the ability to quickly turn needs and ideas into solutions. The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Ekonomiansvarig/Controller role involve economic follow-up and analysis, profitability and margins, procurement and customer pricing, credit issues, and capital commitment. The role also includes acting as a key economic liaison between the VD and the rest of the organization, providing perspectives, challenging decisions, and driving questions forward. The position requires a balance between strategic and operational tasks, with a focus on using data to make better business decisions. To qualify for this role, candidates must have an academic background in economics and approximately five to seven years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Swedish is essential, as is a strong analytical mindset and the ability to understand the relationships behind numbers. The ideal candidate should be business-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable challenging decisions and recommending solutions. Experience with digitalization, automation, and AI is also highly valued. Nice-to-have skills include a willingness to help where needed, a drive for continuous development, and a preference for close collaboration and short decision-making processes. The role is based in Herrljunga, where on-site presence is particularly important for understanding the business, organization, and colleagues.
