The position of Engine Mechanic is offered by a worldwide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider that serves the aviation sector. The company operates facilities in Bad Zurzach and at Zurich Airport, where newcomers from other trades or fresh graduates can begin a career in aircraft engine work. In this role you will help break down and rebuild aircraft powerplants or their modules on lines that handle types such as GTF, LEAP, PW4000 and CFM56. Tasks include following technical manuals and regulatory guidelines, completing required paperwork, meeting delivery deadlines, and applying Lean principles to enhance efficiency. Safety, environmental care and cost‑consciousness are emphasized throughout daily activities. Applicants should have finished a vocational program, preferably in polymechanics, automotive, agricultural machinery or a similarly mechanical field. The job demands independent, accurate work, strong teamwork and clear communication. Physical ability to move heavy items, a proactive attitude and a solid sense of responsibility are essential. Minimum language proficiency is English at level B1, while German is a plus, and the schedule follows a two‑shift pattern. Only candidates holding an EU passport, Swiss citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit are considered. The employer highlights a competitive employment package within a dynamic global environment, with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Training combines classroom instruction through the MRO Fundamentals program with practical, on‑the‑job experience. Additional employee benefits are detailed on the company’s career site. Interested individuals are invited to submit an application via the provided form.
