Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager that combines data, research, technology and trading expertise to run systematic strategies across liquid asset classes worldwide. The firm has built a large‑scale research and execution platform that supports everything from ultra‑low‑latency trading systems to extensive analytics and risk infrastructure. As a Technology Intern you will join this environment in 2027, gaining exposure to the core systems that power QRT's research, trading and investment processes. During the internship you will become part of a development team that designs, implements and maintains the software tools and platforms used by researchers, traders and engineers. Typical tasks include writing code for data pipelines, contributing to the development of trading infrastructure, assisting with performance testing, and helping to automate routine workflows. The role is highly collaborative: you will work alongside senior engineers, quantitative researchers and traders, receive regular feedback, and are encouraged to ask questions, propose ideas and take ownership of small‑scale projects that have a direct impact on live operations. The position is open to students who are in the penultimate or final year of a bachelor's or master's programme and who are ready to start a 3‑to‑6‑month or a 12‑month industrial placement in 2027. Candidates should be able to work in one of QRT's locations, London, Paris, Wrocław, Zurich or Dubai, and must be prepared to engage in a technically demanding, fast‑paced environment where learning is driven by real‑world problems. The internship offers a genuine chance to experience the full stack of a quantitative investment firm, from research code to production trading systems. Strong performance may be recognised with an invitation to apply for a full‑time graduate role after completion. Interns benefit from a supportive yet challenging culture, access to cutting‑edge technology, and the opportunity to build a professional network across multiple international offices. What the role asks for: - Penultimate or final‑year bachelor's or master's student - Availability for 3–6 months or 12‑month placement - Nice‑to‑have: willingness to work in London, Paris, Wrocław, Zurich or Dubai
