Senior Global Access Evidence Leader - HTA Statistician

The Senior Global Access Evidence Leader – HTA Statistician will join the Evidence Chapter, a hub of expertise that influences European health‑technology‑assessment (HTA) standards and submission practices. In this role you will direct Roche’s EU HTA evidence approach, embedding forward‑looking data plans into clinical programs from the start and ensuring they meet both EMA and the new EU HTA regulations. You will design region‑specific evidence packages, identify early evidence gaps, and translate complex statistical outputs—such as network meta‑analyses and real‑world evidence syntheses—into clear narratives that support reimbursement decisions. Collaboration is central: you will guide European affiliates and cross‑functional partners, mentor colleagues on evolving HTA landscapes, and maintain active engagement with HTA bodies, regulators and academic forums to keep Roche at the forefront of methodological innovation. The position requires a master’s or doctoral degree in applied statistics and at least twelve years of hands‑on experience in the pharmaceutical sector, health‑economics or HTA consultancy, European payer organisations, EMA‑regulated settings, or academia, with a record of strategic influence in Europe. You must be a recognized voice in the European HTA community, holding strong relationships with key opinion leaders and contributing to methodological debates through publications or advisory roles. A thorough grasp of the EU HTA Regulation (2021/2282), joint clinical assessment procedures, national HTA requirements in major markets, EMA scientific advice pathways, and real‑world evidence expectations is essential, together with master‑level statistical expertise and a strategic outlook.
