Temenos Configuration Specialist - Securities

Capco is a global technology and business consultancy that helps financial‑services clients navigate change. In this role you will join a team delivering a complex core‑banking and securities transformation for a leading Swiss financial institution, focusing on the functional configuration, integration, testing and rollout of Temenos Securities together with related Temenos Core / Transact capabilities. Your daily work will involve setting up securities products, instruments, transaction rules, settlement instructions, fees, commissions, custody and position parameters inside Temenos Securities. You will turn business and operational needs into functional designs, configuration workbooks and parameter specifications that meet the target architecture and Temenos standards. The job also requires you to carry out fit‑gap and impact analyses, favouring configuration‑first solutions while spotting where extensions, interfaces or data changes are needed. You will support end‑to‑end securities processing, including order capture, trade confirmation, settlement, position maintenance, custody, income events, corporate actions and cash movements, across multiple asset classes, applying knowledge of equities, fixed income, funds, ETFs and structured products as well as post‑trade standards such as SWIFT and ISO 20022. Collaboration with architects, integration teams and external partners is essential for designing interfaces to front‑office platforms, brokers, custodians, market‑data providers and reconciliation systems, while also defining test scenarios, handling defects, and assisting with release preparation, migration, cut‑over and hyper‑care activities. The position requires at least seven years of experience in banking technology, securities operations, wealth‑management or core‑banking transformation, with a strong hands‑on background in configuration and implementation. You must have a minimum of four years of practical Temenos experience and have taken part in at least two major implementation, upgrade or transformation programmes. A solid functional understanding of the securities lifecycle, from trade processing through settlement, positions, custody and asset servicing, is essential, as is proven ability to configure and troubleshoot Temenos Securities parameters across the full spectrum of processing steps. You should also possess deep knowledge of multi‑asset securities processing, corporate actions, income events, SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging, and straight‑through processing, together with working familiarity with APIs, message/file interfaces, market‑data integration, reconciliation, accounting integration, batch processing and SQL or a comparable data‑query language.
