Manager Process Engineering - Energy Systems

As the Manager Process Engineering – Energy Systems you will sit on the unit’s management board, act as deputy for related functions, help shape the department’s strategy and serve as the external face of the engineering group. Your daily work will involve steering a cross‑disciplinary engineering team, delivering technical direction, training and optimal use of resources. You will back project execution and tender processes, guarantee that engineering systems, components and deliverables arrive on schedule, within budget and to quality expectations. Budget and cost oversight, resource planning and corrective actions are part of the remit, as is fostering staff growth through hiring, coaching, mentoring and career planning while upholding HSE standards, business procedures and continuous‑improvement initiatives. The role requires several years of engineering experience, especially in plant engineering and project delivery, together with a proven record of managing varied organisational functions and leading multidisciplinary groups. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder‑management abilities, the capacity to assess complex operational situations and make autonomous decisions, and advanced problem‑solving skills. A deep understanding of engineering, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, supplier landscapes and market dynamics is essential, as is solid business and commercial sense with keen cost awareness. Proficiency in project management, MS Office and related tools, systematic and entrepreneurial thinking, fluent English, high autonomy, prioritisation and quality‑assurance competence are also required.
