Fraud Officer

Swissquote, a leading digital bank in Switzerland, is seeking a Fraud Officer to join their Middle Office, Anti-Fraud & Financial Crime Center team. The Fraud Officer's main responsibilities include communicating with the internal customer support team to resolve dispute requests, processing dispute-related transactions in internal and card scheme systems, and reviewing card transaction monitoring alerts to identify suspicious activity. The role also involves investigating and taking immediate action on alerts, maintaining investigation records, and developing a strong working knowledge of relevant card scheme rules and regulations. Additionally, the Fraud Officer will explore ways to improve existing fraud strategies and continuously enhance their product and job knowledge. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a minimum of three years' experience in a banking operations department. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory, while proficiency in French is a plus. Knowledge of Visa and MasterCard dispute rules and regulations is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional organizational skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to think creatively. The ability to work well within a team, manage stress, and handle high volumes of work is also essential.
