Sr Design Engineer

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is a fast‑growing semiconductor leader that delivers integrated power semiconductors and power‑delivery architectures worldwide. The company is looking for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join its sensor product line, where innovative analog and mixed‑signal solutions power a broad range of industrial, telecom, automotive and consumer applications. In this senior design role you will define design targets, partition blocks, create transistor‑level schematics and supervise layout. Your daily work includes designing mixed‑signal building blocks, optimizing analog performance, verifying designs, following up on IC layout, and ensuring testability, yield and reliability. You will also specify functional safety features, collaborate with the digital team on system architecture, work with overseas colleagues to build production test flows, document designs and architectures, and evaluate silicon in the laboratory. The position requires at least ten years of experience in analog or mixed‑signal circuit design and IC development, backed by a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher. You must have a solid grasp of high‑speed layout issues such as parasitics, crosstalk and supply distribution, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with CAD tools and mixed‑signal simulation environments. Fluent English communication, proven project‑management experience, the ability to work independently while coordinating with analog, digital, layout and test engineers, and a willingness to travel occasionally are also essential. Experience in signal processing and sensor applications is strongly desired, adding extra value to your profile.
