HR Generalist

Marry Jane is a European‑scale cannabis producer that cultivates, processes and markets premium CBD flowers, oils and vaporiser pods from its 15,000‑square‑metre indoor facility in Breitenbach, Switzerland. The company emphasizes quality, sustainability and transparency, positioning itself as a pioneer in the regulated cannabis market. As the HR Generalist you will be the single point of contact for all human‑resources matters at the production site. Your daily work will involve managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and payroll, while ensuring compliance with Swiss labour legislation. You will advise managers and staff on policy, employment law and best practices specific to the cannabis sector, maintain HR records, and drive initiatives that boost engagement, health, safety and overall well‑being. In addition, you will organise training programmes, support performance‑management cycles and handle any HR‑related queries that arise on the shop floor. The role requires at least one year of experience acting as the sole HR professional in a Swiss agricultural, production or manufacturing setting, fluency in both English and German, and a solid grasp of Swiss employment law, industrial relations and workplace safety standards. You must be capable of handling a variety of tasks independently and adopt a solution‑focused mindset. A diploma such as HRSE or HR Fachfrau/Fachmann is preferred, as is prior exposure to regulated environments like cannabis, fast‑moving consumer goods or pharmaceuticals. The position is full‑time and on‑site in Breitenbach, Solothurn Canton, with convenient train connections from Basel and nearby stations in Laufen and Zwingen.
