Retail Merchandise Processor Full Time

GoodwillAZ, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and other disadvantages through education, employment and community programs, is hiring a full‑time Retail Merchandise Processor for its El Mirage store (Dysart & Thunderbird). The El Mirage location serves the Dysart and Thunderbird communities, and each processed donation directly supports Goodwill's education and employment programs. The processor will handle incoming donated items, sort them, assign prices, and arrange them on the sales floor while keeping the area tidy and welcoming. Daily tasks also include greeting shoppers, answering questions, and maintaining an organized checkout area. The fast‑paced floor requires quick sorting and accurate pricing of diverse items, and team members are encouraged to maintain a friendly, helpful attitude toward shoppers. The position demands physical stamina to lift items up to 50 lb and remain on your feet for long stretches. Success also relies on keen attention to detail and clear communication with customers and teammates. Previous experience in retail or customer service is valued.
